Walloon Lake Real Estate

Walloon Lake is usually considered one of Northern Michigan’s premier Inland Lakes spanning Emmet and Charlevoix County. Walloon Lake covers about 4,300 acres, with deep blue water up to 100 feet and a mostly sandy shoreline. There are a couple full service marinas on the lake with good boat launches. Walloon Lake has some of the most expensive waterfront in the area. Homes range from older cottages to multi million dollar new builds. There several developments with shared lake access, which is a nice alternative to direct lake frontage. Vacant land also comes on the market occasionally. Walloon Lake waterfront is always in demand. Depending on the season and availability this market can heat up quickly.
